Princess Crafts is based in Braintree, Essex and specialises in making unique handmade items using beautiful patterns, designs and styles. All of my items are handcrafted with love and care, and where possible, made with materials sourced from local suppliers because I believe in shopping locally.
My vintage china is individually selected from local charity shops and antique markets. To date, Princess Crafts has supported a number of local and national charities by purchasing vintage wares from a variety of charity shops. These charities include: Little Haven’s Hospice, Farleigh Hospice, Barnardo’s and British Heart Foundation. Each item has been lovingly given a new lease of life so that it can once again be enjoyed for its beauty and charm. Please note that as the china is old and pre-loved, it may display signs of wear and tear. This however, just adds to their charm and gives them some character, which I love!
I always ensure to find the best quality I can, many of my teacups are well-known fine English bone china makes such as Royal Albert, Royal Stafford, Royal Worcester, Royal Vale, Royal Doulton and Anysley, to name just a few! I’m sometimes lucky enough to find some exquisite Japanese china. Any items which I’m not able to make use of are donated back to local charity shops to ensure that they can find a loving home but also to continue our support for the hard work carried out by such dedicated charities.
My knitted items are handknitted in the traditional way, just like Granny makes, and the same goes for our crochet goodies! My inspirations include: traditional crafting skills, cheerful colours, beautiful fabrics, pretty patterns, vintage styling, pre-loved homewares and, of course, anything fit for a Princess!

A note about my teacup and glass candles:
All of my candles are poured by hand and are made using soywax which is a vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans. Soy wax candles will burn slowly with no black soot, making it safer and more eco-friendly than other wax types. For best results, keep wick trimmed to 1cm. Never leave burning candles unattended. Keep away from children and pets.
